The Faculty of Law and Political Science is a cornerstone of Ashna University, established in 2014 to produce a specialized and committed workforce for the nation’s legal, political, and administrative sectors. Our four-year Bachelor’s program (LLB) offers students a rigorous academic foundation followed by specialized paths in Judiciary, Administration, and Diplomacy.

The Department of Law offers a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program designed to give students a strong foundation in core legal principles, Afghan law, and practical skills essential for legal practice and public service.

Students enrolled in the Law program gain critical thinking, legal research, argumentation, understanding of constitutional and civil law, and ethical decision-making skills — all necessary to excel in professional legal careers. (general academic expectation)

Law graduates can pursue careers in the judiciary, legal advocacy, public administration, legal advisory roles in government or private sectors, or work as legal researchers and policy analysts.

To apply to the Law program, prospective students must pass the national Kankor entrance exam and complete Ashna University’s admissions requirements. It’s recommended to strengthen your skills in writing, research, and critical thinking to prepare for law studies. (general admissions guideline)
