In order to enhance the awareness and capacity of academic and administrative staff regarding the principles, procedures, and methods of preparing administrative correspondence, an awareness seminar entitled “Introduction to Administrative Correspondence” was held in the university conference hall.
The program commenced with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Quran. Subsequently, Eng. Fahim Sediqi, Deputy for Finance and Administration, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the importance of administrative correspondence, its role in expediting organizational affairs, maintaining administrative order, and establishing effective communication among various departments of the institution.
During the seminar, topics such as the principles of drafting official letters, methods of preparing proposals and reports, management of outgoing and incoming correspondence, observance of the administrative chain of command, preservation of documents and records, and the use of formal and standard language in official communications were discussed.
Furthermore, emphasis was placed on the importance of accuracy, clarity, conciseness, and adherence to administrative principles in the preparation and transmission of official correspondence. Practical examples of administrative communications were also presented and explained to the participants.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants shared their questions and views and described the organization of similar programs as beneficial and essential for enhancing the professional capacity of employees.
The program concluded with prayers and best wishes for the success and prosperity of all staff members.
